Vannamei Shrimp: Latin: Penaeus Vannamei The Vannamei shrimp is mainly a tropical shrimp, Grey or green in color and can grow up to 230 mm or 9”. This shrimp can be found in muddy bottoms at depths of about 72 meters or 235 feet. Its body color is transluscent white and turns to a nice red when cooked. it is one of the many products imported by millennium.
